Every day there is one debate starting at noon EST. The topic is chosen by the community based on the most upvoted upcoming debate. Feel free to vote, chime in, or just spectate. It’s up to you.
After a while, you’ll be asked to recast your vote so everyone can see which arguments were most persuasive. After 24 hours, the debate ends and the upcoming debate with the most votes becomes the next debate of the day.
You can submit upcoming debate topics or review the archives of past debates whenever.
Frequently asked questions:
Everyone is polled on their opinion both before and after the daily debate. After you’ve spent a few minutes engrossed in the debate, you will be asked to vote again. The winning side is determined by the side which changed the most minds, or the drift in poll numbers. The winner will not be announced until noon the next day when the next topic is shown.
